Re-Align Lab Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Re-Align Lab mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Re-Align Lab LLC (“we,” “our,” “us,” or “Re-Align Lab”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Who We Are

We believe meaningful change happens when you’re trusted to lead your own process. Our app encourages experimentation, reflection, and small steps rooted in an affirmation of your core values, putting you in charge of the pace, path, and purpose behind your growth.

Eligibility

You may use Re-Align Lab if you are 13 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service and to make any in-app purchases.

Re-Align Lab LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has accessed the app without verifiable parental consent, we may take steps to disable access and delete any non-local data associated with that use, if applicable.

By using the Service, you affirm that you meet the age requirements and have any necessary consent for purchases.

Trial and Subscriptions

Re-Align Lab is built and maintained by an independent developer (Alexandrea) with no outside investment or corporate backing. Your subscription directly supports the continued development, improvement, and sustainability of this project. Thank you for being part of something intentional and independently made!

Re-Align Lab offers a 14-day free trial, after which continued access requires a paid subscription. For app versions outside of beta, we offer:

• Monthly Subscription
• 6-Month Subscription
• Lifetime Access

All payments for Re-Align Lab are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. We do not process payments directly.

We use RevenueCat to securely manage in-app subscriptions and verify your access to paid features. RevenueCat handles receipt validation and subscription status checks but does not access your personal content. All purchases are subject to the terms and policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Re-Align Lab offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s App Store or Google Play account settings.

We do not offer refunds for unused or partial subscription periods. Any requests for refunds must be submitted directly to Apple or Google, and are subject to their respective refund policies.

Lifetime Access

If you purchase lifetime access to Re-Align Lab, you will receive access to all features included in the app at the time of purchase, with no recurring payments.

“Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the Service, not the lifetime of the user. While we aim to maintain and support the Service for as long as reasonably possible, Re-Align Lab LLC does not guarantee indefinite availability. Access may end if the app is discontinued, if we are unable to maintain compatibility with future operating systems or platforms, or due to other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

In such cases, we are not obligated to offer refunds for lifetime purchases unless required by law.

Privacy and Data

Re-Align Lab is committed to protecting your privacy. All user-provided personal content such as your experiments, notes, and check-ins, are stored locally on your device unless you choose to enable backups through your own iCloud or Google Drive account. We do not sell your data or use it to build advertising profiles.

To help us improve the app and ensure stability, we collect limited, anonymized data:

• Crash reports and technical errors are collected via Sentry to help us detect and fix bugs.
• Anonymized usage analytics (such as which features are most used) are collected through Smartlook to help us improve user experience.

Use of the Service

You agree to use Re-Align Lab for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to access or modify the app’s code or structure
• Use bots, scripts, or other automated methods to access or interact with the app
• Misrepresent yourself, impersonate others, or use the app to distribute false or harmful information
• Interfere with the normal operation of the app or attempt to exploit security vulnerabilities

While we do not maintain control over individual use or access, we reserve the right to restrict future updates or access to support or cloud-based features if these Terms are violated in a way that harms the integrity of the Service or other users.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Re-Align Lab app and website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, animations, interface design, audio elements, and source code, are the exclusive property of Re-Align Lab LLC or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, transmit, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission from Re-Align Lab LLC, except where otherwise permitted by law.

Wellness Disclaimer

The tools provided in Re-Align Lab are designed to support self-awareness and intentional living. They are not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Re-Align Lab LLC is not liable for outcomes related to your use of the app, including decisions or behaviors influenced by journal content, experiment results, or emotional check-ins.

Always seek the advice of your physician, therapist, or qualified health provider with any questions regarding a condition or emotional difficulty.

User Content

You retain full ownership of any journal entries, experiments, notes, or other content you create in the app. We do not access your content unless you contact us for support and explicitly choose to share diagnostic information or screenshots that contain your content.

Any feedback posts, feature requests, or other content you submit via FeatureBase may be visible to other users, unless you choose to submit it privately (e.g., via a help ticket). If you submit content publicly, you are responsible for ensuring you do not include personal information you do not wish to share. Anonymous posting and commenting is enabled in all FeatureBase boards. All public posts and comments on FeatureBase may be subject to moderation.

Modifications to the Service

We may update or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We will attempt to give reasonable notice for significant changes but are not obligated to continue offering features indefinitely.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Re-Align Lab LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. Some jurisdictions, such as California, the European Union, Canada, or Australia, may provide additional rights to consumers. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights where applicable by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example, to reflect changes in our features, policies, or legal obligations. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, by email (if you’ve provided one), or in the app store release notes.

We encourage you to review the Terms periodically. By continuing to use Re-Align Lab after any updates take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
